Rising Kinder - 3rd grade students will attend 2, one-hour classes.

Rising 4th-9th grade students will attend 1, two-hour class.

Classes with *'s are offered more than one week throughout the summer.

When filling out the sign-up form, you'll be asked to pick back-up options in case some classes don't fill.

*Rainbow Art
Grade range: K-3
Explore the rainbow through many different mediums - tie dye, paint, coloring, collage, fabric, watercolor, and more.

*Let's Get Wild
Grade range: 2-3
Students will learn about the many things animals need in order to survive. Be prepared for all hands-on adventures around Evergreen's campus as campers study animal adapations, pollution tolerance, native species and plants - all while practicing the Leave No Trace ethic and learning how to collect, observe, and analyze data.

*Yoga Games
Grade range: K-3
Yoga is a wonderful way to open your child to the awareness of their place in the world. Each class will focus on a lesson or theme and will include creative yoga flow, breath work, games, stories, music, parnter/group activities, visualization and relaxation. Through yoga, your child will develop strength, flexibvilitty, self-confidence, balance, coordination, focus and discover the ability to feel calm. Ms. Brandon's playful, gentle style allows children to find a personal connection to their yoga practice.

*Mess-makin' in the Kitchen
Grade range: K-3
Every day we'll get dirty in the kitchen, making food from around the world. Each child will have the opportunity to create their own edible masterpieces. Which, of course will get eaten and shared. Homemade items will include personal pizzas, all-fruit popsicles, & tacos, among other things. This class can accommodate any child-- with or without dietary restrictions. No need to pack lunch for your kiddo, we'll make a healthy one in our class each day! (Okay, the camp day is pretty long, so do send some back-up food...)

*Amazing Animal Art
Grade range: K-3
Inspired by Eric Carle's children's books, campers will chosse a beloved animal and create a colorful mosaic. We will take each child's masterpiece and create a set of greeting cards. Each camper will recieve a set of cards along with their origianl piece of art, matted and ready to frame.

*Forest Hi-Flyers
Grade range: 4-9
Designed for the serious adventurer, learn and practice the skills you need to climb and traverse the ropes among the treetops. Additionally, members of this club will have the opportunity to work towards belay certification for the climbing wall. Let's play on the Evergreen Beanstalk Forest!

*American Sign Language (ASL)
Grade range: 4-9
Leran to speak with your hands and listen with you eyes! American Sign Language is the language of Deaf Americans.. We'll learn basic fingerspelling, play games, watch and try out sign language storytelling and learn about Deaf Culture and the history of ASL. Each class will have a different theme, but will also include basics so no previous knowledge or experience is needed.

*Zentangle
Grade range: 4-9
Zentangle is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun method of creating beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. This method of drawing is enjoyed all over the world, across a wide range of skills, interests and ages. When people engage their minds in creating Zentangle patterns, they often feel more focused and relaxed. Others feel sparks of creativity, artistic satisfaction, and a sense of personal well being.
