Enrichment Classes

Rising K-3rd grade students will attend two, one-hour classes.

Rising 4th-9th grade students will attend one, two-hour class.

Classes with *'s are offered more than one week throughout the summer.

Classes with a + are part of our new Extended Enrichment class offerings, and will include a full day trip on Fridays.

When filling out the sign-up form, you'll be asked to pick back-up options in case some classes don't fill.

Superhero Yoga*
Grade range: K-3
Discover the hero within through yoga! Included in this week are exciting yoga movement games, breath work, mindfulness practice and relaxation. Students will explore the hero that they already are, while having fun, being creative and using their imaginations. Through yoga, your child will develop strength, flexibility, self-confidence, balance, coordination, focus and discover the ability to feel calm. Ms. Brandon's playful, gentle style allows children to find a personal connection to their yoga practice.
Instructor: Ms. Brandon Hudson, RCYT, E-RYT, MAT, is a yoga teacher, children’s yoga teacher, a children’s yoga teacher trainer and a trained yoga therapist that has over 15 years' experience working with both children and adults.
*Field to Feast, Jr.
Grade range: K-3
Campers will explore their creative sides in the garden and kitchen as they experience garden care taking, science investigations, take-home garden crafts, and a greater understanding of the natural world.

*Mini Masters
Grade range: K-3
Kids will have an opportunity to learn about famous American artists from the 20th and 21st centuries. Using artistic elements and a variety of materials, students will then create their own artwork.

*Magic of Reality
Grade range: K-3
Biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, and more! Young, inquiring minds will experience the world of science all week with fun, engaging experiments, each geared towards a different area of science. Disclaimer: This isn't science class, it's science recess!

*Mini Muggles
Grade range: K-3
Mini Muggles will follow recipes per the Potions Master’s instructions to experiment with non-toxic substances (corn starch, dish soap, food coloring) and observe how they react with each other. The potions they make will be inspired by the most famous Potions Masters in all the wizarding world, and they will be able to take their creations home with them!

*Music Ensemble
Grade range: 4-9
Bring what you play or experience new (but very basic) instruments for ensemble playing. All levels welcome. Music will be selected and customized for the group. The week will culminate with a performance.

*Summer S.T.E.M. Academy
Grade range: 4-9
Researching, hypothesizing, solving, designing, measuring, building, experimenting: using your Science, Technology, Engineering and Math brain to create the next best invention! Join Team S.T.E.M. to use your creativity in a collaborative way to make something magnificent!

Learn to Belay
Grade range: 4-9
Want to enhance your climbing skills? Join us and learn how to belay other people up our climbing wall! Some skills we’ll be working on include knot tying, gear fitting, belay technique and even some physics! This class is open to anyone who wants to learn something new and prepare themselves for a future with ropes.

*+Breakout Adventures
Grade range: 4-9
Saving the world from a zombie virus by unlocking the antidote! Lost in time, navigating your way back to modern day! In Breakout Adventures, students work collaboratively to solve a series of critical thinking puzzles to open a virtual "lock box" before time runs out! Students will have the chance to solve several virtual Breakout Box challenges throughout the week.
On Friday, the class will travel to a local breakout room! There is a $15 materials fee for this class.
