Rising Kinder - 3rd grade students will attend 2, one-hour classes.

Rising 4th-9th grade students will attend 1, two-hour class.

Classes with *'s are offered more than one week throughout the summer.

Team Sports Two spots left!
Grade range: K-3
Students will engage their mind and their body as they get together each day to experience many different team sports - including, but not limited to soccer, basketball, volleyball, football, kickball, baseball and ultimate!

*Pollinator Palaces
Grade range: K-3
We will begin the week learning a bit about the amazing work of the pollinators in our region and exploring our campus for materials with which to build several designs of “pollinator palaces”. The palaces will be functional habitats for our hard working pollinators AND unique beautiful works of art to adorn any yard.

*Engineering the Elements
Grade range: K-3
Students will create functional art with a focus on the elements of water, wind, earth, and fire by using things we find in nature, such as leaves, rocks, sticks, and feathers.

*Yoga Games
Grade range: K-3
Yoga is a wonderful way to open your child to the awareness of their place in the world. Each class will focus on a lesson or theme and will include creative yoga flow, breath work, games, stories, music, partner/group activities, visualization and relaxation. This week's theme is Dragons, Wizards, and Hagrid! Through yoga, your child will develop strength, flexibility, self-confidence, balance, coordination, focus and discover the ability to feel calm. Ms. Brandon's playful, gentle style allows children to find a personal connection to their yoga practice.
Instructor: Ms. Brandon Hudson, RCYT, E-RYT, MAT, is a yoga teacher, children’s yoga teacher, a children’s yoga teacher trainer, and a trained yoga therapist that has over 15 years' experience working with both children and adults.

*Field to Feast
Grade range: 4-9
Come explore the garden and surrounding woods with us! Field to Feast classes will have rotating themes based on the teacher's passion and what is happening in our garden, but will always include garden care taking, thematic environmental education & science investigations, take-home garden crafts, and explorations of the natural world. Every week will culminate in a garden harvest and the creation of a shared meal from our garden.
WEEK 2: Flavors from Around the World
A look at how spices are used to create the unique flavors in foods we love from around the globe.

*Breakout Adventures THIS CLASS IS FULL!
Grade range: 4-9
This class has a $10 materials fee
Saving the world from a zombie virus by unlocking the antidote! Lost in time, navigating your way back to modern day! In Breakout Adventures, students work collaboratively to solve a series of critical thinking puzzles in order to open a locked box, all before time runs out! Students will have the chance to solve several Breakout Box challenges throughout the week (each with its own unique story!) as well as build their own breakout box challenge. To cap it all off, on Friday, the class will travel to a local breakout room!

*Trail Conservation Corps
Grade range: 6-9 ONLY
Do you enjoy spending time in the woods? Do you like learning to use new tools? Have you ever imagined one day working for the Forest or Park Service? Have you ever been hiking or biking along and wondered to yourself, "Where do trails come from?" Join Laura and Holley, your resident AmeriCorps members, with the EL Trail Conservation Corps, a summer enrichment club in which we'll learn to re-route water to prevent erosion, creatively shape trails into pleasant hiking surfaces, safely use maintenance tools, responsibly trim trees and shrubs... and more!

Wanna enhance your climbing skills? Join us and learn how to belay other people up our climbing wall! Some skills we’ll be working on include knot tying, gear fitting, belay technique, and even some physics! This class is open to anyone who wants to learn something new & prepare themselves for a future with ropes.
